When Your Community Touches A Nation

Wreaths Across America is stopping at Thorne Middle School, Middletown, on Wednesday, December 11th at 11am, the first of two stops in NJ. The community has been invited to line Murphy Road with American Flags to greet the Wreaths Across America convoy. There will also be a Wreath laying ceremony at The Battle Of The Bulge Memorial at the school upon the convoy's arrival before proceeding to its' second NJ stop, Liberty State Park.

In preparation for this event, VFW Post 2179 Commander, Charles Ghallagher, with AL Post 515 Commander, Victor Wnorowski, donated American Flags from both 515 and 2179, to Thorne Middle School. The Flags were received by Principal Tom Olausen and Assistant Principal Pete Smith, at the school this afternoon.
